Scientific-production society with added responsibility “Pharmec” was founded in 1990, and is specializing on technical gas safety equipment. Today the Enterprise is one of the leaders among CSI-based manufacturers in design and production of single-electrode semiconductor gas sensors for inflammable and explosive gases (Methane, Propane, Hydrogen), as well as thermo-catalytic sensors for the same gases measuring analyzers. Among these, for concentration fractures measurement of such highly toxic gases as Chlorine, Ammonia, Carbon monoxide, as well as Oxygen concentration in the atmosphere, the world’s key makers’ liquid- and solid-case electrical and chemical sensors are used.

Constant adaptation of the Equipment to the growing market demands, implementation of new operational technologies, newest electronic elements and contemporary IT know-how application allow constant quality improvement of all types of the devices and is one of the key-factors of NP ODO “Pharmec” success.
Whole range of the production undergo mandatory State acceptance examinations, controlling and periodic testing, and most of the devices are registered with the State Measurement Equipment Registry of RB, RF, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and are permitted for the application by respecting controlling authorities. Majority of the devices are of explosion-proof type and can be used in high-explosion hazard areas, according to cl. 7.3. of PUE “Requirements on Electric Devices facilitation” and other documents, regimenting the application of electrical equipment in explosion-hazard areas.

We would like to offer the brief summary on the NP ODO “Pharmec” latest design developments in the field of gas-analyzing equipment.

Leak Sensor FP 12.

Leak-detector-signal-unit FP 12 is portable, highly sensitive device with semi-conductor sensor and inbuilt micro-pump, it is designed for the detection and localization of the natural gas (Methane) or liquefied gas (Propane) leaks, responding with light and sound signalization when the threshold volume concentration of controlled gases is reached. Application range varies from industrial facilities (GRP, GNS, boilers, etc.), basements, wells, other gas production objects and equipment, operating at overpressure, to the pipelines, including the underground ones, at a time of emergency, routine maintenance and repair works.

Sensitivity threshold in leak-detection mode – 0,001 vol. fracture, % (Methane), 0,003 vol. fracture, % (Propane), emergency alarm response threshold– 1,0º and 0,4 vol., %, respectively.

Distinctive feature of FP 12 is graphic display of concentration deviation (increase, decrease) by the means of LED matrix, which allows more accurate detection of the leak spot on the equipment.

FP 12 mass is 430 g. (without gas-intake sonde), overall dimensions - 185*60-35 mm.

Explosion protection marking is “1Е[ib]dIICT5 X”

Gas Analyzer FP 11.2 К.

Gas analyzer FP 11.2 K is portable measuring device of explosion-proof type with digital indication and inbuilt micro-pump, and is designed for the Volume Concentration measurement of one of the explosive gases – Methane or Propane.

Range measurement – 0 – 2.50 vol. fractures, % (Methane);
0 – 1.00 vol. fractures, % (Propane);

Signalization response threshold– (1.00±0.25) vol. fractures, % (Methane);
- (0.40±0.10) vol. fractures, % (Propane).

FP 11.2 differs from earliest devices IDK 95, IDK 95.1 and FP 11.2 by graphic display of measured concentration, which, being the same as in FP 12, enables objective following its dynamic.

Gas Analyzer FP 33.

Gas analyzer FP 33 is portable device with light and sound signalization, graphic indicator, forced feeding supply of analyzed environment, assigned for simultaneous measurement of Methane (СН4) or Propane (С3Н8) content, Oxygen (О2) and Carbon Monoxide (СО) concentration in atmospheric air.

Area of application: wells and underground engineering collectors, sewage collectors, heat and telephone net systems, tunnels, cisterns and other facilities and vessels, where explosive and toxic gases and lack of an oxygen present life- and health-hazards.

Measurement Range (signalization sensitivity threshold) FP 33:
- Volume Concentration of Methane, % - 0 – 2,50 (1,00);
- Volume Concentration of Propane, % - 0 – 1,00 (0,40);
- Volume Concentration of Oxygen, % - 0 – 25,0 (18,0;2,0);
- carbon monoxide mass fracture concentration, m²/m³ - 10-125 (20; 100).

Explosion-proof marking “1Ех[ib]dIIВТ5”.

Advantages of FP 33:
- simultaneous indication of all three gases concentration;
- mechanically durable case of aluminium alloys;
- automatic battery charge;
- main menu display in English and Russian;
- “Test” mode for signalization sensitivity thresholds check;
- inbuilt timer;
- data collection on measured gases concentration with the time interval of 3 sec. for the last 270 hours of operation;
- self-testing and failures data display;
- diagnosis and collected data operation via inbuilt PC-connecting port IK

Gas Analyzer FST-03 В.

Gas analyzer FST-03В – multi-channel, stationary, explosion-proof, constantly operating device, designed for the automatic measurement of Methane and Propane volume concentration, mass concentration of carbon monoxide (waste gas) and chlorine in atmospheric air of administrative, industrial facilities, structures and outside based Units and devices, with light and sound signalization and outer electric circuit communication for the independent operational devices connection.

Structurally, the device consists of the power supply and signalization blocks (BPS) and sensor block (BD). Numbers of sensor blocks BD – from one to eight, at any gas type combination.

Gas Analyzer ensures:
- digital indication of current gas concentration in all controlled areas;
- option of two sensitivity thresholds for each channel;
- gas overload protection for Methane and Propane sensor blocks;
- option of data collection on gas over-concentration and data exchange with outer devices via the interface RS-232 or 485;
- power supply and data exchange between the signalization and sensor blocks (BPS and BD) via two-wire connection lines.

BPS is made in standard version, but has spark-proof electrical circuits with explosion-protection marking [Exib]IIC, sensor blocks BD – explosion-proof version with explosion-protection marking 1Ех[ib]dIIT6.
