The “Pharmec” company was found in 1990. The company specializes in the development, production and technical support of the Gas safety equipment: leak detectors, explosive-gas indicators and gas-analyzers (both portable and stationary).

Since its foundation the engineers of the company have developed two types of sensors (thermo catalytic and semi-conductor) and near twenty kinds of different devices.

The “Pharmec’s” thermo catalytic and semi-conductor sensors are used to detect and to meter combustible (such as methane, propane, hydrogen) gases’ concentration. The company uses electrochemical cells (produced in some countries of the CIS and the EU) to pinpoint and to measure toxic gases (chlorine, ammonia, carbon monoxide) and oxygen. The company’s semi-conductor sensors are distinguished by the simplicity of assembly and design. The “Pharmec” developed a special technology that makes its thermo catalytic sensors to operate more stable than the analogues.

The company uses microchips in the manufacturing process that considerably simplifies the incoming signal processing as well as technical service.

Some of the company’s portable devices have an integral micropump that allows their use in tight, difficult to reach areas (such as cellar, wells, reservoirs and etc.). The aluminum body effectively protects instruments from possible hits and falls.

Most of the devices are explosion proof and have the corresponding certificates in the Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation and Ukraine.

Due to the price policy and high quality of its products the “Pharmec” company almost fifteen years successfully operates in the market of the Gas safety equipment.
